Eight on cannabis, LSD drugs charges after city raids

Eight people appeared in the Dunedin District Court yesterday following earlier police raids of several houses in the city.
The eight face a variety of charges ranging from alleged cannabis dealing to alleged class A drug LSD dealing.
All were remanded without plea to appear on September 11.
*Blaire Kiriana Forrester-Ihaia (19), was remanded in custody on two indictable charges of offering to supply and supplying LSD to unknown persons between 15 July and September 3, and one indictable charge of selling cannabis to persons over 18 between the same dates.
Bail was not being sought, duty solicitor Campbell Savage told Judge Mike Radford.
*Shynon Benjamin Seifert-Simpson (18), unemployed of High Street, one indictable charge of selling cannabis to persons over 18 between July 15 and September 3, and one charge of offering to supply LSD between the same dates.
*Daniel Bellamy (18), one indictable charge of selling cannabis to a person over the age of 18 between July 15 and September 3.
*Nicole Marjorie Tilden (23), trainer, one indictable charge of selling cannabis to persons over 18 between July 15 and September 3.
*John Daniel Frame Milburn (17), unemployed, two indictably laid charges of possessing cannabis for sale or supply, September 4, and selling cannabis to persons over 18 between July 15 and September 3.
*Oliver Ian Young (18), kitchen hand, of High St., one indictably laid charge of selling cannabis to persons over 18 on August 10.
*Walter Tama Ihaia (52), baker, of Ocean View, one indictable charge of selling cannabis to Blaire Kiriana Forrester-Ihaia between July 15 and September 3.
*Kristy Anne Bellamy (22), one indictably laid charge of possessing cannabis for sale or supply between July 15 and September 3, and one charge of selling cannabis to a person over 18 on September 4.
