David Carey was arrested on Thursday, 10 July, 2008 attempting to prevent the New Zealand Police from unlawfully detaining Abe Gray. On Thursday, 17 July, 2008 Carey was served with a trespass notice by police at the behest of Otago University Proctor Simon Thompson. Documentation so far is below.
