This is a copy of a letter to the editor from the ODT, June 4th, 2008:

"Today's cannabis is very strong. There is no place for any illegal drug at Otago University. Please introduce random drug testing. Anyone seen smoking cannabis within 250m of the campus should be arrested. There is huge support to have tobacco smoking banned within the same distance. Our slack attitude to drug use is one of the reasons New Zealand is now so far down OECD educational ratings."
