The police have said they are cracking down on the 420 protests, but they only have ever come to one 420 protest in the past four years and were only there for about 20 minutes. Except for the brief presence of a traffic cop out on the street at the very beginning, this day marked the third 420 in a row at which the New Zealand Police were absent since their declared 'crack down'. I guess they were bluffing.

What happened to the Police 'crack down' I wonder? Maybe the Police remembered that 'they have better things to do'.
