The police said the 420 protests must be stopped and that they would be attending 420's from now on to arrest people who smoked cannabis. They came on Wednesday, 11 June and arrested one out of fifty people. But only two days later on Friday, 13 June there was no police presence and 65+ Otago University students openly smoked cannabis in defiance of unjust prohibition laws with no harassment from Police or Campus Watch.
What happened to the 'crack down' I wonder? Maybe they remembered that 'they have better things to do'.
